- Providing electrical feed
- Installation of 3no. new FAAC B680H vehicle barriers c/w lighting kits
- Installation of new Pedestals and receiver plates for barrier arms for the installation of TDSI Readers
- Installation of 5no. Induction loops and 3no. safety loops and beams
- Installation of vandal proof HD Colour video entry system
- Installation of manual override switches for barriers
Challenges & Mitigations
Challenge
Diversion/isolation/termination of building services causing possible delays and increased cost.
Disruption to the environment and working around the public and staff in controlled environments.
Mitigation
Highland established collaborative relationships were in place and followed the principles of ISO44001 so that all stakeholders / contractors were always well informed and that all planned / unplanned activities were managed.
All staff were fully briefed via toolbox talks and aware of their safeguarding responsibilities. Clear signage and instructions were always provided and regularly updated.
